Jonathans - Wilkes-Barre

Literally the best duck I’ve ever had! It was so amazing I went back the very next day and had it again. Seems excessive, but try it and you’ll understand. I was skeptical of the portions until the food came out and I ended up having to take home leftovers. The prices were great too. We got two cocktails, two very full entrees, an appetizer, and a dessert to take home for approximately $120. Not bad at all for a fine dining experience! I’ve recommended it to friends who have gone and loved it as well. Jonathan’s is a hidden gem and my new favorite place.

This restaurant and bar is fantastic! The food is delicious, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. They also offer a great selection of vegetarian options. There is plenty of parking available right outside the door. The restaurant is very kid-friendly with activities for children. The service is excellent. Overall, a great place to have lunch!

I have visited this restaurant several times and it has never let me down. The food, service, and atmosphere are definitely worth the price. I ordered the pork chop dinner and carrot cake for dessert, both of which were absolutely delicious. I am glad to see them back by the lake and I will definitely be returning.

Tried this joint as another local pub was closed. Reviewed downstairs menu and we were not out for finer dining. Went to the upstairs deck which is more of a pub menu. Wonderful view of the Lake. My wife had a great burger fresh and cooked to order. I had fried clams which reminded me of Beloved Howard Johnsons. A few cold drafts and got a reasonable bill. Left with a smile on our face and plan on making this a warm evening return trip.
