Excellent food and very friendly service. French fries in particular were quite delicious. Reuben sandwich had TONS of corned beef. Bottled craft beers were quite reasonably priced (for greater Chicago area). What User doesn't like about Bake's Sports Grill:
Ordered fish and chips, the fish had underwhelming flavor and the crispiness could have been more consistent. I received some that were too well done and some that were half soggy and half crispy. The tartar sauce was the redemption of the meal. I don’t know if they make it in house or not but it added a nice touch to what would otherwise be an overly greasy soggy dish. I was in town from Arizona, and the food and service were fantastic! The kids loved it. Our server, who had curly hair, was attentive, friendly, and absolutely charming—our shy daughter really took a liking to her. She was really in charge! The margarita flatbread was incredible, and the beef sliders were amazing as well! If we lived here permanently, we would definitely become regulars. Great job, everyone!
The food wasn't very good and didn't appear to be fresh. The service was also lacking.
Very relaxed vibe for lunch with great food! Couple beers, **** Mary's, and food. Haven't visited for dinner or late night drinks yet, but I definitely want to!
Got the best damn burger there that I've had in a long long time.
This is a cozy local bar with a clean interior. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I didn't try the food, so I can't comment on that, but the atmosphere is pleasant.
