What User doesn't like about Letty Lou's Café Diner:
Food was excellent. But we waited for four tops for an hour. We asked if they could remove one of our mimoses for inconvenience, and instead they received a $5 gift certificate for our next visit (not even covering the cost of a moimosa). It's ridiculous to give us a gift card instead of just removing an item from our receipt. The waitress was friendly, but she didn't leave her way to make the situation right. I thin... I think most people were waiting for their food after an hour. I don't think we'll come back after this service.
My wife and I went to Letty Lou on Saturday for lunch. We made this goal online after looking at their menu. It is a twenty-minute drive from our house, just one mile or two south of Route 100. It was easy to find and there were many parking spaces. Inside, the café is divided into two areas: a large open dining area and a smaller bar area. You also have a fair number of tables outside, under unbrellas. We sat in the bar, the two walls of windows has a lot of natural light. Very nice. There are some interesting pieces of Nostalgie decorating the bar, including a two meter high statue of Popeye. They play classic oldies (music from the 50's and 60's, which complements the whole fun feeling. We were expected to be both attentive and pleasant. The menu is... there are so many options, and not the run of the mill that is so common in restaurants (that was our reason for visiting! . You serve all day the breakfast I love. Egg dishes have the opportunity to dice in a burrito or in an omelet. I had the cans Amigos (egg, salsa, jalapenos, sausage, with pepper jacket cheese, with shredded haash brews. The eggs were fantastic. The hash-browns were a little crispy when I care about it, although my wife prefers it in this way. Next time, I'll just ask her not to be crispy. My wife had a tailor-made omelett with a fruit cup and a side of geese. She loved the Omelet and appreciated that the fruit was cut into pretty small pieces. But the star of her meal was the grotto. These are the best greetings I ever had to quote. This is a compliment because my wife grew up in the south and had grottos many times. I tried a bite and agree that the grottos are amazing here. For drinks my wife had a moimosa and I had a Bud Select in the bottle. That was an excellent experience for us. The service is good, the atmosphere is happy, and the food is fantastic. Despite the relatively long ride, we 'll definitely go back... there are many more things on the menu, I would like to try!
Great breakfast at Letty Lou's! The coffee was surprisingly great. Loved the breakfast quesadilla with sausage. It was one of the best I've had, and definitely better than the one at The Shack. Everyone loved their meals!
