What User doesn't like about Wilbraham Seafoods:
Great food......Rude waitress! Asked for a coffee to start our meal after ordering. I was told we no longer have coffee and we do not drink it. I was then told if I wanted a coffee so bad, to go across the street, they have it there or in the future you can bring your own. Been going for years....not anymore! View all feedback.
The food was excellent, but the service was disappointing. I requested a coffee to kick off our meal after placing my order, only to be told that they no longer serve coffee and that it wasn’t something they drink either. The waitress even suggested that if I really wanted coffee, I could go to the place across the street or bring my own next time. I've been a loyal customer for years, but after this experience, I won’t be returning.
The restaurant provided plenty of tartar sauce and napkins, which was appreciated. The online menu was straightforward, clearly outlining the offerings and prices. The person taking my order was friendly and attentive to my questions. She also considered how long it would take me to arrive for pickup and made sure my food was hot and ready when I got there. I highly recommend trying this place at least once. If you decide to order the whole belly clams, make sure to check the market price, as they can get a bit pricey. Also, the onion rings made for an excellent side dish!
This is the best seafood restaurant I've ever been to! The food is absolutely delicious, and the portions are generous. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially the young man with light brown hair—he’s fantastic! He's not only funny and handsome but also really cool and kind.
Visiting felt like stepping into a strange alternate reality for fish shops. It seemed as if the quality of food prep and ingredients had drastically declined, almost as though it were being handled by someone with a completely different vision, perhaps even a vegan influence. Even the tartar sauce tasted different - not in a good way. The new owner should really inform customers about the changes to the fish and chips. I was looking forward to the same high-quality white fish that George used to serve, but what we received didn't even resemble that. I'm not sure what type of fish was on our plates, but it certainly wasn’t cod or pollock. Moreover, the portion sizes were pitiful for a $15 fish and chips dinner; they were extremely small. Overall, this was a major disappointment, and it seems there are no more good fish and chips places left in my area of western Massachusetts.
The clam strips were fantastic! It was my first visit, and I definitely plan to return. Parking was a breeze—very easy to access and exit. We had dinner, and the price per person was between $10 and $20.
