Wrights Chip Shop - Wigan

This is the best fish and chip shop in the northwest. The service is lovely and the food is amazing. I go twice a week.

My friend and I shared a portion of fish bites. Although they were decent, The Hip Hop Chip Shop’s were far superior. I liked the Manchester quotes written on the chippy’s walls.

I recently had the best fish and chips I've had in a long time at this restaurant! Definitely worth a visit. The staff were also very friendly and lovely.

Hands down the best batter I’ve ever had, so bummed that I discovered this place on my second last day but you bet I went back again before I left.

Oh wow. Wright's is absolutely fantastic! It's our favorite spot whenever we're back in Manchester. We always order the Cod with a pickled egg, mushy peas, and curry on the side to drizzle over the chips. It's simply delicious!
