If you are looking for good, home cooked delicious food, in my opinion Humble Pie Cafe is the best not only in Standish, but the Wigan area too. Jacquie, the owner, offers an excellent choice of meals and snacks at very competitive prices. You can choose to eat in the cafe itself or order take away food and beverages. Went there for 2 take away bacon and sausage barms. I ordered them and immediately heard the microwave so obviously have been cooked previously and then warmed up. The bacon was really tough. I ordered a latte, I saw the lady get Aldi branded coffee out of the cupboard, then poured milk in the top and put it in the microwave. They are also selling multipack Aldi cans separately. Visited here for the first time with my brother and we were not disappointed. Very friendly and welcoming staff and most importantly the food was delicious. I will definitely be visiting again :
I really like this little cafe on the High Street. The owner is really pleasant and she serves the most tasty sausage barms in the area.
The staff at this restaurant are very welcoming and the food is delicious. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this place, especially for breakfast.
Best breakfast in Standish with excellent friendly service and very reasonable prices, will definitely be back.
I stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday morning and for £3.95, you can enjoy a small breakfast that includes a drink and toast. The meal consists of bacon, sausage, egg, beans, mushroom, and tomato, all cooked perfectly in a cozy café.
