Description

Nestled in the heart of the city, this café is a mixed bag of experiences. Diners have enjoyed hearty dishes like tender lamb shank and generous portions of fish and chips, often highlighting the friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices. However, repeated complaints regarding inconsistent food quality and subpar service have marred its reputation. Instances of disorganization among staff and potential hygiene concerns have been noted, leaving patrons questioning their dining choices. While some appreciate the charm of a no-frills café, others find it lacking—and many consider seeking more reliable alternatives for their next outing.

Cafe been here for years so must be doing something right. Called in for a coffee and toasted teacake which was fine. Close to bus station.

Visited here last saturday with my mum (our monthly outing together). As we passed from the bus station this place looked busy but we have found in the past there usually the best places.. wrong!!!! The food was average as for service; it was full of young girls who clearly had no idea as to what they was doing. We had to constantly ask for assistance from get go including asking could we order. We eventually had our meals which was brought out by one of the staff who was in the kitchen; (not sure how professional that is). Although she was much politer than the other teenagers and serviced us with cutlery and drinks which the other girls had forgot. Wont be going back in a hurry thats for sure.

The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and I have never had a bad meal here. They offer a wide variety of options so you can find exactly what you're in the mood for.
