Wirklich ein Grund Wiesbaden zu besuchen... tonight we went to the Schleifmuehle und this was our second time. the food is really great but oh my was the lady kids unfriendly. we were there with a year old, a year old and a year old. the year...old was constantly corrected not to do or touch something. It really made our evening there very unpleasant. we will not return and find another great greek restaurant around Wiesbaden View all feedback.
Thank you for hosting our visit for a birthday dinner! the service was friendly and usually fast. the worth and the quality of eating were very good and we enjoyed our evening in bacchus. I am personally a fan of that. hugely portioning everything was right at the point.
Their specificity is fish, a lot of seafood prepared for various wise, but always very tasty. the menu offers many other Greek specialties. the prices are somewhat high, but the meals are served. the staff is in the regular quite friendly but sometimes under stress because the restaurant. is in the regular well visited and their kitchen is relatiw limited for the demand of a full, full house at the weekend.
We were looking for somewhere to eat on a Saturday night and chose the grinder bacchus, not least because of its most positive reviews on tripadvisor. we didn't book, we were just hoping for a spectacle. we were pretty early at 7... or so, and the place was full. but they had a help room. that, although it was down and next to the toilets, was okay. even if the decor was carbon from the great book of the Greek restaurants decorating clichés. the menu looked pretty good and we ordered. could we have lammed instead of pigs for the kebabs? no problem, said the very nice waiter and then we prepare to wait. for as I said, it was full up and there were 2 other groups in the room where we were. so it was a surprise when our food arrived 5 minutes later. to mention something positive: the meat was really okay. what we did not find particularly appetizing was the raw garlic that was crushed over it. it is not a taste that many people would enjoy. that was scratched. then there were the often baked potato wedges, which were essentially only cooked potato wedges, which often passed on the way to our table. they were bland. and a great German word to use muddy. say that loud and tell me it sounds pleasant. the rice and fresh vegetables continued. since when have fresh blacks gray and fresh carrots as much texture as yogurt? it was so obvious a charge mixed veg from a tinn. pitiful. and then there was a so-called salat a bowl of huge lumps of rohem wobbles, tomatoes and gurke drowned in a very oily but otherwise tasteless dressing. it was completely in agreement with the standards of everything we had ordered. we tried to do something very unGerman and complained. it is almost as if we had spoken and our observation that the sweet was not fresh, was translated into the most personal and malignant insult that the poor waiter had ever heard and then the coup de grâce the bill. nothing removed, but 10 euro added for a change of two pigspins to lamm souvlaki (which proved to be six tiny lamb cubes). it was actually the most expensive main course we had ever had in a restaurant in meadow bathing and not worth the money. we were there twice as the Germans say; for the first and last time. I hope I saved you all from that.
