Decided to stop by for a treat after lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Place was crowded and I now understand why. The product was very good. Many servers so the line was not long. Had the lime ice cream and it was a great choice. This place appears to serve coffee and other items as well. What User doesn't like about Rialto:
I really love swimming as a city, but what a Gelato-Abland. that should be the best gelateria in meadow baths and while they have a lot of flavors available (including a sortiment of creminos,) none of them was really good and they pay 1.60 euro. per shovel. even more expensive than in frankfurt. We have been looking for good cofee when I found several people walking with ice creams in rainy Febraury day. They were coming from Rialto bar. Very good cofee, very good ice creams. Recommended
This cute little Ice Cafe serves a splendid variety of Italian Ice Desserts. Our favorite is their splendid dark chocolate, which is perfect for someone lactose intolerant like me. I also love their melon and other fruit ices while my husband prefers things like the cookies and cream or some of the milk based products.
My husband and I are staying in downtown Wiesbaden, and have spent many evenings strolling through the Marktplatz. Among the shops and pretty outdoor cafes is the Rialto Eis Cafe. No matter what time of day it is, there is always a line out the door - a testament to their delicious gelato! There is a assortment of flavors, including pistachio, strawberry, coffee, chocolate, stracciatella, and Nutella (my personal favorite!). The service is fast and friendly. While not everyone who works there speaks English, it's not difficult to point to what you would like to order and get what you want. One thing to note is that they do not accept credit cards. But in Europe, that is nothing new. When visiting Wiesbaden, be sure to stop by and enjoy some gelato at their outdoor seating area or while walking through the marketplace! Highly recommended.
I had the Nutella cup and it was delicious. I came back on a different day and had 1 scoop of the "Maracuja" on a waffle cone, it was amazing I regretted not getting 2 scoops. Everyone there speaks "a little" English, which is helpful to tourists. I will definitely go back!
