Phaistos Zur Klostermuhle - Wiesbaden

I was stationed in meadow baths from 1979 thru 1983 and eaten several times at phaistos. when I go back to visit, I make it a point to see.

Sitting on Saturday for lunch (they are only open today at the weekend for lunch) eating is the first advice and their inn really gives a Mediterranean feeling, especially when it is sunny. the staff is friendly and the choice of Greek dishes is good....We went for lambcocks that were perfect. if they like retsina, they also serve. not cheap, but worth the price.

If the weather is warm, they can eat outside on a terrace with olive trees that make them think of Greece. if not eating is still good enough to make happy memories. service is efficient and friendly with a good selection of typical. Greek food. we went for the special lambskin. excellent! booking is not obligatory, but is a good idea as they are busy. lunch is only at the weekends to the time.

We've been here several times and the parking is always a mess. It is a bit out of the way also. The food has always been between very good and excellent, service from average to good. This last time the couple next to us had...a small, 2 yr old, and they seemed very accommodating and friendly to them, as well as us. The atmosphere is pleasant with the restaurant nested into the local farm area. We've tried several Greek restaurants in the area and always found Phaistos consistently one of the best.
