The place is of course very hunting and shooting orientated with lots of trophies and animal memorabilia on the walls and it looks a bit old fashioned but this is their style, so it is not to everybody's taste but it was OK for us.The food is typical German and the quality was excellent. We were all very happy with the taste of the food, although some found the portions a little small other (such as myself) found them big and it seemed to depend on what you ordered.However, we found the service very slow and inattentive. Once we had placed our order the it took a long time for the starters to be served. At the same time they served the children's meals, which is not necessarily a bad idea as the kids don't/can't want as long. But then it took just as long again to get the main meal served. So in the end it took over 1 hour from ordering to getting our main meal! They were also not attentive during the rest of the time. Our table was close to the serving area but they would always walk past us without asking if we wanted any more drinks, or even looking towards our table. In fact, in trying to order another drink I had to try for about 20mins to get their attention. Hence, during our 2 hour meal most of us actually only managed to get 1 single drink.There is also outdoor seating, although this was not open when we were there as it was still a bit chilly.In the end, I think that the effort of waiting so long is not worthwhile. You can get good quality and good service in other locations.

To our table reservation for 2persons we were there 2 on time, got a nice female service also flott a drink but then the waiter ran (head? 1!! hour around us be... read more To our table reservation for 2persons we were there 2 on time, got a nice female service also flott a drink but then the waiter ran (head? 1!! hour around us because he, responded to this, allegedly waited for two more persons of the reservation!. At 14:15 we got our food, which came high quality to a medium-sized fast restaurant. Only the beautiful ambience in the garden has spoiled us with the visit of the restaurant.
