Gastwerk-degenhardt - Wiesbaden

We have been for breakfast and enjoyed scrambled eggs (perfectly cooked) with crunchy bacon, and nice coffee and bread. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was so smiley that it automatically put us in an even better mood.

Visited when in Wiesbaden for an evening. Service is fast and efficient and the burgers were to die for. I had the Italian burger with mozzarella cheese on top. It was both huge and great quality. Add the fries and you won't have a lot...of space left. A little of the main road. but still reserving was essential. OK, it was the week before Christmas so the city was pretty busy. It has an outside terrasse, but I didn't try it in December.

I had some time to kill while my wife had a doctor's appointment so I stopped in this place right around the corner from her doctor's office. I had seen it during the summer months and thought it was a cafe based on the tables...set up outside in the plaza. Actually, it is a full-service restaurant as well as a cafe. While I was there, there were a number of other people there as well. Solos, couples and small groups, all drinking coffee or another drink, some having a light desert or a meal. I had a Bailey's Latte and a Kaiserschmarrn, both which were delicious. The Bailey's Latte had just the right amount of Bailey's to give it a wonderful flavor without overwhelming the coffee flavor. The Kaisershmarrn was delicious. Hot off the stove, not overly sweet like many American desserts are. The ambiance is very nice, and the wait staff is very professional. A plus for me was that they also spoke excellent English. I am still struggling, trying to learn Deutsch, and use it when I can. I will definitely return!

Of course it´s nicer to sit outside in summertime, but even now in fall, Degenhardt is a nice place to have an unpretential lunch, afternoon tea or evening snack. Beverage choice is good, the service girls very friendly. When strolling around in the city of...Wiesbaden, this place is perfect to have a break.

Many friendly room to enjoy a good cup coffee and a piece of cake. but of course we can get a real breakfast here and much more. it is super in the window that looks outside, especially when the weather plays it is part. friendly and helpful staff and nice prizes I would come and enjoy. and of course I must tell them that the toilets are spick and span that is English for beautiful and clean.
