We stayed for a couple of nights. The room was spacious and comfortable (note that due to energy-saving reasons there are no minibars in the rooms). Although the room we got was facing the street, it was quiet during the night. The location is not ideal, but it's convenient enough. Tram 49 stops 100m from the hotel and takes you to the Ring; and Westbahnhof station is a 7-min walk (from there you can get to the old town in less than 10 minutes). Now, about breakfast. I contacted the hotel in advance to double check and confirm vegan options. I'd suggest doing that, so that they can also prepare you something special (they prepared us a couple of vegan cakes). Otherwise, vegan options in the buffet include fruits, salad, porridge, muesli, plant-based milk and yoghurt, bread, jams, and spreads like hummus. The staff was friendly and helpful. Because of the eco-friendly concept, and the vegan options for breakfast, I'd consider it when in Vienna.
The hotel is exceptional for many reasons: 1st (and most important): The food (see pictures). It has many vegan options, everything was really tasty and high quality. 2nd: The service. I never stayed in a hotel with a service of this quality before. 3nd: Sustainability and environmental protection everywhere! They really consider every aspect of Sustainability I guess its called the worlds first SDG hotel for a reason.
Sweet and savory vegan options, friendly staff and a relaxing hotel. Love it! Updated from previous review on 2022-11-14
