Cosy ambience, delicious dishes, mouthwatering desserts, great variety of choices. If the staff could smile a little bit and be more polite, the experience would be even better. English menu is available and don't worry about tipping, service charge is included in the bill. View all feedback.
What Gary Edwards doesn't like about Zum Wohl:
Clueless and rude staff. We went trough the menu with waitress and I explained I can't eat grain or onion.... Still they brought me a dish that had lots off onion... When I confronted them they explained that it is hard for the cheffs to...make it without onion and asked iff I'd like to eat a hamburger without the buns.. All the time the waitress was polite but the other waiter almost got mad at me for trying to see... View all feedback.
Nice for trying more traditional Austrian food. Could have a few more vegan choices. The mushroom ragout needs to be ordered with potatoes instead of Nockerln to be vegan, which I forgot. Nice staff.
My vegetarian Austrian friend took me to Zum Wohl, knowing that I 'm vegan. The interior is classic, old European style with a tall ceiling and old furniture. The menu contains many vegan or vegan possible items. I tasted the pumpkin and the tomato soup. Both were very tasty and huge portions. As a main dish, I ate spinach dumplings with tomato sauce, which was also lovely and a big portion. I highly recommend this restaurant for traditional Austrian food veganised.
