Contribute FeedbackThe owner gregor is very interested in his guests and offers a warm meal in addition to various regional delicacies daily. tiny local with the best atmosphere.
Zum johann is a very small place, indeed, a corridor. a little bar, a little wine shop a little restaurant is a little stay. gregor, the owner, is attentive, jovial, cheerful, without ever being intrusive. I usually go there or before dinner (often though we forgot to go to dinner, staying with him.,) or after dinner, to conclude in the best of ways an evening with friends. You drink, you chat, you listen to some music. is made friends with all present, given the size of the room and the savoir-faire of gregor. at noon offers very good typical dishes! and if you had to happen on Wednesday, the lunch prepares the mother of gregor, which comes especially from the "bucklige welt" (a territory in the south-east of niederösterreich.) even in the evening it is possible to make a dish with meats, cheeses, vegetables and various sauces that make appreciate even more the wines that gregor proposes. in the summer two tables outdoors, and always beautiful people who do not look for the coolest or fashionable place, but a place to stay well. Well, for real.
Despite its size (place for 10 - 15 people), the new local is an excellent spot for anyone who likes to drink a to xxx very good wein and want to have a good chat. the excellent delicacies from the "buckling world" are very tasty and the price-performance ratio is perfect, even if there are only 1 dishes per day. the guests are international and yet I felt like I was a regular. a visit "to johann" is worth it all.
I guess the smallest weeping in the meadow. I was greeted as a solo traveler by the regulars and by the chef and immediately invited to the original. there I have been able to taste wonderful pearls in sympathetic ambiente - notabene at a great value for money. the chef searches the wee ourselves and knows his suppliers personally. you feel that. a bar with great love to wee and man. I'll be back soon.
The relatiw new local "to johann" should have migrated to the in-local very quickly. visitors from the buckling world meet there with the inhabitants of the grätzels and spend nice time together. At noon there is only a court (e.g. rice meat, lenses with speck.,) but that has it tastefully really in itself! I can only recommend this locally to anyone who likes to drink good wine in a nice company.
