Wir waren diese Woche zweimal im Scala - das Erste mal waren Prosciutto con Melone und Carbonara erstklassig - das Service am Rande der Katastrophe: meine Tocht... read more Wir waren diese Woche zweimal im Scala - das Erste mal waren Prosciutto con Melone und Carbonara erstklassig - das Service am Rande der Katastrophe: meine Tochter verschüttete etwas Limonade - die Serviererin half indem sie die Flüssigkeit meine Tochter in den Schoss wischte... sonst war das Team hauptsächlich unaufmerksam und tratschte lieber als zu kassieren.Heute war ein anderes Team und das Service besser dafür war auch ein anderer Koch und beide Pasta Teller waren - trotz gegenteiliger Behauptung - garantiert Mikrowelle: hart und doch zu weich, am Tellerboden etwas Wasser, ... was man halt so bekommt wenn man Restln aufwärmt - und auch zu heiss ... der Teller war mit klebriger BBQ Sauce "dekoriert" - meine Tochter testete - klebrig/hart also auch Mikrowelle.Auch die Präsentation war nicht so gut wie beim ersten Mal.

But I ordered water with lemon and I was chatting so instead of pouring the water in to the bowl I poured it on to the table and the had not given us silverware I had no napkin so the waitress to her hand and the dumped the water onto my lap I was not very happy then. Later on we asked for the bill and they said just one minute we ended up having to wait around 20-25 min so we go up to them and they are drinking sodas and said sorry we forgot so they go into the kitchen and we wait another five minutes so when they came out again it took them forever to operate the cash register but Finally we got the bill.

After our visit we were looking for an Italian restaurant and we ran into this little gem. A variety of Italian dishes served in great portions and reasonable prices. We tried pasta and pizza and both were excellent. Also, the restaurant offers a variety of fine wines. We liked it so much we went back twice! Highly recommended!

Küche gemischt, gegrillter Tintenfisch mit Blattspinat sehr gut, Pizza nocht meins, weich langweilig....Teste lieber die Lokale lieber der Gegend als nochmals zu kommen.

Die P... read more Im Sommer kann man draußen sitzen und im Winter ist drinnen auch gemütlich. Die "primi piatti" sind hervorragend, mir schmecken die Linguine con calamari. Die Pizza si difende bene. Die Weine sind auch ganz gut! Ich komme immer wieder hier, wenn ich ein besonderes Anlass mit gutem italienischen Essen feiern möchte.

Our party chose the salmon dish, chicken salad with a side dish of rosemary potatoes and the piccante pizza. All three meals were delicious. We then went for puddings which were out of this world be warned the portion sizes are very generous but moreish. The Tiramisu was wonderful. We can thoroughly recommend The Scala but do book. They were turning people away on a Wednesday evening.

After a great, fresh salad, our main item of filet of Zander, a light Austrian fresh water lake fish, had bones and was grossly overcooked to the point that this light fish was dry an as crunchy as cardboard. Once was enough at this restaurant. We had passed it many times and decided to give it a try, but once was enough...or too much. Cannot recommend it!

Unfortunately the whole experience was spoiled by a waiter who was unpleasant and disrespectful He gave the impression that he was serving us for punishment and mocked the wine names we said.
