Had Goulash with a fried egg which was excellent with tender beef, potato dumplings and a succulent gravy all topped with a fried egg. Great service in...a busy, popular neighborhood restaurant.

We had pork medallions with sauerkraut and a lamb shank with thyme-polenta gratin, vegetables, and red wine sauce. Both were excellent. Highly recommend. Friendly waiters spoke English well, and had...good wine recommendations.

Beer was about the most expensive we came across in the whole of Vienna with the exception of the top hotels, worked out at roughly 14 Euros a litre. Service was fine, staff very pleasant but could help but feel when I left I had paid quite an amount extra for food that wasn't that much better.
