The four of us wanted to warm up, as it was bitterly cold in Vienna, broken off at El Tempo Bistro and ordered 2 cappuccino and two latte' Then we decided to have a bottle of wine, 2 chicken chips and two pizzas. The bistro was not very busy and had no particularly beautiful atmosphere. Service was good, and our bill came to £95 euros. Not much more about the place really being said. View all feedback.
What Felicity O'Keefe doesn't like about Il Tempo Bistro:
Quite a bad experience. We ordered two macchiato, 2.20€ each. When asked for the bill the waitress didnt bring us any, but asked for 5€. We gave her 10€ and she gave us 4€ in return... We were amazed. Plus, coffees were disgusting. Just go...somewhere else, please. View all feedback.
Awful, awful, awful place. The food is a tasteless cacophony of misery. The service is terrible. The drinks are cheap. Brace yourself if you go to the toilet and catch a glimpse of the kitchen. I advise you do this before you eat anything. It...is the worst dining experience I have ever had the misfortune of living through. The only reason I managed to choke the bland offering down was because I had been travelling and not eaten for 6 hours. If I had the energy I would've just left. After eating I felt dirty for not having complained and refused it. Hateful hateful hateful awful place and very unfortunate that one of my most memorable things in Vienna was this abysmal dive.
The tea arrived without lemon and the bartender didn't ask me what kind of tea I would like to have. I asked for a slice of lemon and he arrived with lemon juice. The service wasn't good and the bill arrived in a piece of...paper.

We called at Il tempo as it’s just a few minutes walk from the Spanish Riding School and we’d come from the morning show and were going back for the guided tour in the afternoon. We ordered coffees and toasted ham and cheese sandwiches, with...a slice of Sachertorte. When we asked for the bill we saw it was about half as much again as we had thought but the waiter spotted that and realised it was for the next table. What we had cost just under The coffees were accompanied by a small glass of water.
Had lunch here with family on a Thursday afternoon. Our server was Mauricio. He was very funny and attentive. Food was very good. We ordered spaghetti and bluefish both were very good. I recommend this place. Don't know why so many bad reviews on this...site.
