On a pedestrian only street with lots of shops, restaurants, and bars. Staff very nice. Food was good and plentiful. We could have shared the lunch. Near an excellent bakery, a must do in Vienna. Good for lunch or dinner. Casual atmosphere. View all feedback.
What Alessia Küng doesn't like about Columbusbräu:
This restaurant is well situated, not that far from the train station. Price is good but the quality of the food isn't the best I've ever seen. I had the schnitzel and it wasn't the best I've had in Austria. Great choice of beers. Service is fine. They have a smoking and a non smoking section. View all feedback.
We ate here twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. We enjoyed both meals very much. I think if we'd stayed in the area longer, we probably would've come back for another meal as the menu had a good variety and we found the...portions to be more than enough and very delicious.
Excellent service, non-smoking room if you’re looking for an escape, and varied menu selection from other restaurants we visited. We loved everything we had—casual vibe and filling portions.
During a six-day stay in Wien we visited this excellent cafe bar and the brown house in the favorite street. the columbus was the first place we visited in our second day and what a great place to start their day. the hotel is located in an area...where there are many interesting pubs/bars and restaurants and a few minutes to walk from the hotel where we live. the columbus has an excellent well maintained interieur with many interesting features and beautiful decor and furniture. we visited here early in the morning and to be honest it wasn't really that busy. we took a place in the main bar area and had a few glasses of coca cola zero. the drinks were really refreshing and inexpensive with other places we visited in. the columbus is an excellent place to visit and is so easy to find from the tram stop columbusplatz. (This is my first evaluation of the columbus). opening times. Monday-Saturday-09.00-00.00 Sunday-09.00-23.00 public transport. tram stop columbusplatz.
Our party had 4 different dishes: burger, schnitzel, beef goulash and pork medallions. we all agreed that eating was edible, but not inspired. they have a strange method that is used by waiting staff, where it seems that all waiters are responsible for all diners. while it can be efficient, it was a little distracting.
Large main courses samé as desserts and beer and very pleasant things. also it is worth going to the breakfast. very recommended.
