We went to the Opera on Sunday night and the performance ended at 10:30 pm and we made a reservation at this magical place at 10:30 pm as no other place was open and the reviews were extraordinary. We came here and went up to 2nd level to go to restaurant area and were warmly greeted by Stephen who took care of us. Nikola also was our main server and he was great. I went this 13th of May with some friends again to Casino Wien because on the January 2020 I went for business Trip to Vienna and my friends and I were very happy, if I remember correctly before was the Head Chef LUKAS OLBRICH, but I checked the Menu from this month May 2023 and was another Head Chef called THOMAS WOHLFARTER, I check on google and looks like he worked in a very good Restaurants like in the HOTEL COBURG, PALM HAUS RESTAURANT, SCHLOSSPARK MAUERBACH and some others like a High Quality so I decided to go again and see, play and taste with some friends the Menü We took the Menü D&C and the famous Beef Tatar, before the appetizers we got Olive oil, Black Bread, White bread and some green and black olives so I thought we gonna have a great dinner and after we got the appetizers which were HORRIBLE, the AUBERGINE WITH BROCCOLI was like what is that? The aubergine was burned, no taste at all and dry, the wild Broccoli was overcooked and the dressing with pinions, raisins and capers tasted as well old and too sour, I got a point that maybe in a FINE DINING maybe the chef has a different way to cook but that the SCHRIMPS SALAD the sauce taste more like a quick Mayonaise and Ketchup, the bread toast in between was hard and the small Salad on the bottom was sour like an old Caesar dressing, not to eat again, THE BEEF TARTAR WAS KIND OF FUNNY BECAUSE the AVOCADO CREAM tasted old and doesn’t go together with the beef tartar, not the best I tried My other friend took the ASPARAGUS SOUP, taste like water and the Pilz consome looks like apparently they put some vegetable/ Chicken powder to give extra flavour, the Main Course was ok, the Pork Cheek taste good and the White Asparagus was not good peeled and very disturbing to eat I think is Sad for the price you pay We were very unhappy, and normally the dessert safes the meal but the MILCH REIS WITH KOKOS tasted old and boring even a table next to us said that the MILCH REIS tasted FAD and not good, BUT the CHOCOLATE MOUSSE WITH BEETROOT AND RHUBARB ICE, was something new for me and I never tried because make vegetable ice sounds estrange but the result was really really excellent The only thing I didn’t like much from some waiters was that some of them was not so much professional, when you need something like water or bread, need to wait very long I asked this person waiter a couple of times for water and we were ignored, I think he had more fun with another blond waiter with a suit and he was like walking around, the food took way to much to come to the table, but thanks good was another waiter with black jacket, which I assume that he was the boss from the waiters with glasses and was better and a bit more profesional All in all not to come again, for a FINE DINNING I know that some people says why you didn’t complain, I don’t like to get an extra voucher or free meal, if I go to a place where it is a HeadChef with NAME/REPUTATION, I expect that everything is good for the Quality and price but obviously was not like, very sad!
We were a party of four. We really enjoyed the quiet red salon we were quided to. Service was wery enthusiastic and professional. Food was nice not five star quality but still.
Das beste Cuisino in dem wir bisher waren, die Küche hält was sie verspricht, das Service ist zuvorkommend und stets bemüht selbst wenn man antialkoholisch unterwegs ist. Die Speisen und das Ambiente verdienen sich definitiv die Haube. Das man im Jahr 2019 einen Großteil der Casino Fläche als Raucherbereich dediziert ist für mich unverständlich aber anscheinend braucht der 'Zocker ' sein Nikotin. Das wäre jetzt kein Restaurant Problem aber das man da als Gast durch muss um zur Toilette zu gelangen passt nicht. (Könnte z.B. durch eine Trennwand im Stiegenhaus gelöst werden.
06.03.2022 /19:00 Uhr Unser erster Besuch im Casino Restaurant. Sehr sehr nette Kellner. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und begrüßt. Unser Tisch war sehr schön für 4 Personen gedeckt. 4 Gang Menü war ein Traum. Das war exquisite vom feinsten. Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Bedienung war der Hammer, er weiß wie man jemanden dazu bringt noch etwas zu bestellen, auf charmante Art und Weise. 4 Mal 4.Gänge Menü um ca 280€ 120€ an extra Getränke und Gedeck. Ein wenig teuer für ein Casino Restaurant aber sehr empfehlenswert . Das Casino selber ist eine nicht so gute Sache mit den einarmigen Banditen und den Roulette tischen, nächstes Mal werden wir nur essen gehen, das verlorene Geld im Casino war extrem ärgerlich und schade aber selber schuld
Ich meinerseits glaube, mein Kollege und ich, haben bereits schon einmal die ganze Karte rauf und runter bestellt. Das Essen wurde besonders prompt serviert. Durchaus nicht nur das nette Personal war bei unserem Besuch der totale Renner, sondern ebenfalls das tolle Flair. Die Sitzgelegenheiten sind ausgesprochen angenehm und den Abstand zwischen den Tischen finde ich überaus angemessen. Dort bekommt man in keiner Weise das Gefühl, wie Sardinen in der Dose Abend zu dinieren. Ich war schon lange nicht mehr so beeindruckt von einem Lokal.
