This restaurant is pretty good for this city, but I would advise against ordering the simple tonkotsu ramen. I ordered it with added garlic and chili paste, but the flavor was lacking. It could be much better with a thicker broth and higher quality noodles. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Taki Ramen Japanese Noodle And Pub:
I have to say, the food at this restaurant was absolutely incredible. It's surprising to find such a gem here in Wichita Falls. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. If you can, I recommend sitting at the bar. Don't forget to try the fried gyoza with extra ginger. I also enjoyed the spicy chashu ramen and spicy chashu miso ramen. View all feedback.
This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I must admit that it was really good. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. While I know it's not always accurate to judge based on a first impression, I am eager to return for a few more visits to confirm my positive experience!
I recently dined at a delightful ramen shop that completely exceeded my expectations. The ramen was absolutely amazing, with a flavorful and spicy miso broth that had me savoring every last bite. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of chewiness. However, the real standout were the croquettes. They were crispy on the outside and filled with delicious flavors that perfectly complemented the ramen. I couldn't resist getting a second order to take with me! The atmosphere at the restaurant was cozy and the service was friendly and efficient. If you love ramen, this place is a must-visit, especially if you find yourself in Wichita Falls. It doesn't get much better than this!
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant! I began with the Bulgogi Bun, which was a delicious and slightly spicy treat. The combination of flavorful meat and soft bun was outstanding. My friend and I also enjoyed the Teriyaki Rice Bowl and the Oyoko Ramen, which were both unique in taste but equally tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Walked in, sat down, and immediately left because the place doesn't even smell like food, just like cleaning products (fabuloso if I'm not mistaken). Don't want to smell toxic artificial fragrance while I'm eating.
If you’re looking for authentic, this isn’t it. But if you are wanting a genre of food that doesn’t need to be “real”, then this can easily be your jam. What I liked:Friendly environment and staff. In fact I’m pretty sure that this was the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while with the cooking staff facing right at the front door the whole time welcoming the customer or thanking them as they left. This part I definitely tipped for, the people working were great. I put three for service only because there was one server and she couldn’t keep up with demand. I had been waiting for a check for a half hour, I didn’t not blame her at all and still tipped well. What I didn’t like:I’m a big foodie and live mom and pop places, and I guess I didn’t realize I was going into more of a chain restaurant when I stepped in so bear with me. If chain restaurants are what you like, then ignore the following. 1. The noodles are just like what you get from a ramen noodle packet, the same wax covered, low grade noodles. 2. Their gyoza are only served fried because they pull them from a freezer and just splash them into a deep fryer upon order. 3. Everything is overpoweringly salty. 4. Everything is already made and either heated up from a frozen state or is put into water to bring back its life.Again, I may be judging too harshly because this kind of restaurant isn’t my jam. Mom and pop places like T&K Kitchen just down the street from this location is MUCH better for someone like me. So if you are looking for a genre of food and don’t care about it being fresh, go to Taki Ramen, the staff is great. If you’re looking for good food made from scratch, go to T&K Kitchen.
