What Donald Holmes doesn't like about Mt Lemmon Cookie Cabin:
I have family visiting from out of state, and I took them to Mount Lemmon today. We visited the Cookie Cabin around 3 p.m., which was a tremendous disappointmentThe young lady got the cookies out of a lower cabinet. Once I got back downstairs, I discovered the cookies weren’t even warm. I went to the front counter today to order a cookie and the girl working was counting credit card receipts. I waited for her to respond to me waiting to order. She said hello in a soft voice and went back to her receipt counting. I waited for her to ask me for my order which she didn’t so I turned around and walked out. I’ve come here years ago and hopefully next time they pay attention to their customers! Very disappointing!
Overpriced prefab food at best. They get away with it because of limited offerings on the mountain? Was expecting something a bit better than plastic cheese pizza, and prefab cookie dough pieces baked together. For the price I wiuld expect something truly home made with a better flavor.
6 for a medium coke, 9 for a average cookie, 35 dollars for a cheese or pep, pizza flat crust. One person to eat will be 35 dollars. It's very expensive. Parking is really bad. In my opinion the whole town is not worth going for a bite to eat, I recommend bringing your own and having a picknic, the service really acts like they would rather you not come to town. They are to busy. Everyone looks tired and burned out. This is my opinion. Rich people pay a lot more for less than this place gives. Have a great time. It's a beautiful drive and it don't cost anything to see it.
Great cookie and awesome people! We got The Rachel with a scoop of ice cream; it was so good! Everyone working there was super nice. We will come back next time we come through town!
This place is one of my favorites! The pizza here is fantastic. The cookies are huge and absolutely delicious!! Atmosphere is so fun. It’s a huge log cabin with indoor and outdoor seating at the top of a mountain. What more could you ask for. All this after a breath taking drive up the mountain. This one is a definite must. Parking: On the weekends parking can be difficult as the parking spaces are limited. Go during the week and it’s no problem. Kid-friendliness: Kids will have a blast here! Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp to get up to the cabin.
