We were enjoying our food and suddenly... read more I came in here to take my mother out for mother’s day tonight and as it says online that it is a reservation restaurant. We were enjoying our food and suddenly two teenage girls that were let in by one of the female hostesses in the front with converse on started shooting me and my mother with water guns and caused a scene and left the place after. We did enjoy our food until this happened and we were under the impression from the website that it was reserved only and not just anyone can walk in like that.This ruined my night out with my mom on the one day it was supposed to respect her as a mother the most.

I go there twice... read more I love Steve’s BBQ, the food is extremely great. The service is excellent, they try to accommodate you to your liking. The owners are the best. I go there twice a week and enjoy the great food they have.I have read the reviews and find those who are complaining about the food and service are just that. This place is very clean, welcoming, great food, quick service. You couldn’t ask for a better BBQ to eat at.

We were seated at waited 10 minutes until I had to flag down a waiter to attend to us. We ordered drinks. The blueberry bourbonmash is quite delicious. The guac burger was worth the hype. It was delicious. And so was the Mac and cheese. From what I wastold, the brisket sandwich was also delicious. The loaded potatoes were a little undercooked, and a but hard on theinside. Overall I'd come again.

Start off by saying there’s not much of any good places around Whittier with actual authentic good bbq, but Steve’s by far is thee place that delivers great amazing authentic bbq food thatcan’t be passed at all!!! The meat ???? is by far great quality and just melts/falls apart in your mouth with every bite, suchgreat taste and high flavor by far!!! You can taste that smokey savory flavor of the meat and the bbq sauce is amazing with thatgood kick to it. I had the brisket sandwich and it was both delicious and very filling, I had some of my fiancés pulled porkand very delicious as well!!! 10/10 by far, definitely coming back again.
