We rocked up for dinner without a booking which was ok. We were told 20 min wait to be seated. We were escorted to bar area for a drink but wasn't needed as our table was ready well within the 20 mins..staff were helpful, friendly and very knowledgable with regards to the menu. Our food arrived quick, tasty and plentiful.Yes it's mostly pizza but it just what we felt like and our choice was gourmet Thanks View all feedback.
What Scottieoz doesn't like about Manta Ray:
My family and I booked this restaurant for a birthday dinner. We were informed upon arrival that we would only have 2 hours for our meal, which was not mentioned when we made the reservation. Some vegan dishes were accidentally served as meat dishes. The portion sizes were small, so we ended up needing to order extra appetizers. The food at this restaurant is incredible, the service is top-notch, and the cocktails are delicious. The staff even assisted me in arranging a cake for my husband's birthday. Thank you so much!
We had a lovely dinner at Manta Ray. The view was beautiful, the staff were lovely and attentive. I was very happy with our meals, all were delicious. Would recommend visiting. I know I’d like to go back.
Decided to treat my husband for a Sunday seafood lunch at Manta Ray. We ate here a couple of years ago and had a lovely meal. Unfortunately this time the food was just not nice. Comically bad. The garlic prawns were served in a thick grey gravy which had not a hint of garlic. I can’t think what this sauce could have been made out of. We were so hungry from a morning out in the sun so we ate them. Neither of us are in the habit of complaining but both after the fact wished we had just sent them back. They were absolutely horrible. The pipis had very few pipis in them. It was mostly a bowl of shells in a tasteless sauce and the Caprese salad had zero basil even though the menu stated basil. They clearly couldn’t source any so substituted the basil for parsley and dill which is not a caprese salad. Just mention it to patrons so they can make an informed decision before ordering and paying for a substandard substitute. A very disappointing and expensive meal for the quality of the food. They need a good shake up. Get the owners to come sit have lunch there. It’s such a beautiful spot. Right on the water. So perfect for a seafood lunch. It just needs better food.
Visited with a family group from 80+ to a 4 yo. As I missed out on the seafood linguine at an earlier restaurant I had it here. It Wasnt as good as the others had during another meal but it was Ok. No one else complained but there wasn’t the enthusiasm for the food experienced elsewhere. The staff were great though.

Some vegan dishes were accidentally served as meat dishes. The portion sizes were small, so we ended up needing to order extra appetizers. One of the main dishes we wanted was not available due to ingredients. We were charged over $110 in fees and surcharges on top of our bill. To make matters worse, we were given a 5-minute warning to leave just 20 minutes before our allocated time was up.
