Thai Orchid Whitstable

My man and I ordered the Massaman curry, rice and pad Thai noodles, and we had to order another curry because it was so delicious!

There was a whole vegetarian menu that we were told was also usually vegan with a few taken out (e.g. when they ask the pad Thai to do it without a). the personal seemed completely glued when we explained that we were vegan and when I double checked, there was no fish sauce in the dressed that are so marked that they said there was no. we had dimmed to begin, followed by pad thai and massaman curry. the food was delicious, the service was good and the restaurant was spacious and airy.

We visited as 2 vegans and 2 carnivores. they had separate vegetarian sections for each section, all dishes slightly veganized, just not to ask.

The crispy duck was delicious, but unfortunately, the main dish left much to be desired. The sweet and sour dish was not like anything I had tried before and was very watery. My friend ordered the chicken sweet and sour, but it also did not taste like the traditional dish and was runny. When we expressed our disappointment to the waitress, she simply apologized and handed us the bill. To make matters worse, when our main dishes were brought to the table, the sauce spilled over onto the table and we had to clean it up ourselves. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and do not plan on returning.

You can't find a better place for a fantastic lunch at such a great price.
