Jersey Mike's Subs - Whitsett

The back kitchen staff serving hot sandwiches need to change their gloves and take more pride in their work. Despite looking young, the young lady at the front was the most mature, ensuring cleanliness and greeting customers as they arrived. It appeared that a group of high school students were working and managing the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was subpar and I do not plan on returning anytime soon. Although my order was unsatisfactory, I did not feel like returning once I arrived home.

I love Jersey Mike's, but unfortunately, this particular location is not up to par in my opinion due to the staff. There is one lady in particular who always has a bad attitude. She makes customers wait and sneakily adds extra charges. No matter how kind you are, she remains rude and unhelpful. Even leaving a tip does not improve her demeanor. Her customer service skills are lacking, and I believe she should be let go. Service: 1 star.

I visited the store on Burlington Road near Whitsett, NC around 1:30 on Thursday, August 31st, 2023. I ordered a #9 sandwich and requested mayonnaise on both sides. The older man preparing my order only put mayonnaise on one side of the bread. He then placed the bread with the mayo on top of the meat and cheese, flipped it onto the counter, applied mayo to the other side of the bread, picked up the meat and cheese from the counter, placed it back on the bread, added toppings, and scraped lettuce that fell onto the counter back into the bin. The lettuce didn't seem fresh as there were some light brown pieces in it. I would suggest retraining him.

Employee fixing subs with a sucker in his mouth slurping on it like it’s his last meal. Other employee at the cold counter scratching his head then proceeded to grab gloves put them on and fix subs. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

I was walking up to go inside and a girl locked the door. They were open bc it was 2 ppl inside sitting down eating. Not sure what’s going on with this location but it should be addressed.
