What Micheal Smith doesn't like about Purple Steer Restaurant:
Ordered the Gyros Plate and the meat reminded me of squared hockey pucks. They still only do carry-out. Multiple orders of mine have been messed up. This place in the past had pest problems. Save ur money and go down the street to Arnies. View all feedback.
I’ve been going to Purple Steer for years, and my most recent experience was one I thought I had to leave a review about. I ordered online like I usually do, and I went to pick up. They told me they were having issues with their online ordering, and they would have to start my food now. I was okay with this and waited for my food in my car. Within 10 short minutes, my food was done. When I got home two of my dishes were completely undercooked. My hash browns were hard and you could tell they were still not cooked through. My french fries were soft and cold in the middle. I never have issues here so I decided to call the restaurant to let them know about my experience. A man spoke to me and yelled at me to “never come back” if the food was not up to my standards. He refunded me, which I told him I did not want, I just wanted to let him know what happened. When you order food at a restaurant you expect your food to be cooked, instead I had to come home and recook what I was given. I will be taking that man’s advice, and I will never order here again.
There is no din in it at the moment. just take out Since the beginning of the beer flood. But still very good. I can't wait for them to finally reappear and dive back in.

I guess I need to check my bag before I leave ? maybe next time I will tho if I order them… luv the chicken nachos but my chips are always too crispy burnt taste too
Had dinner here this time…the obvious thing to first point out is the neon 80’s vibe you get from the inside decor. This is a diner and you should expect diner food.I was hoping for something home style and comfort-like with gravy. The Steer did not disappoint. The service is decent. You are greeted when you enter and the wait staff did a great job refilling drinks and checking on you.I ordered the breaded veal cutlet with mashed potatoes and gravy. Plus lemon rice soup. (Most entrees come with soup and a basket of bread)The lemon rice was good. I’ve had better at most Greek places. But it did the job. The bread wasn’t as warm as I’m used to. But it was okay. The entree though everything I was hoping for. Hot. Breaded. Tender. Piled high with gravy. The mashed potatoes were also decent. And I can’t say enough about that gravy!
