Bojangles - Whiteville
Bojangles
Description
This Bojangles can deliver exceptional biscuits and spicy chicken with warm, friendly service and quick takeout — at its best it’s memorable, especially for breakfast or travel stops. However, reliability is uneven: frequent order mistakes, intermittent undercooked or dry items, and reports of poor cleanliness and staffing lapses dampen the experience. Patrons are advised to double-check orders and expect highs and lows; when operations click, the food shines, but inconsistency and hygiene concerns remain notable caveats.

The best dirty rice and biscuit and steak I have ever had at a Bojangles. Seriously.
Everything was fantastic except they forgot to give me a Fork for my Dirty Rice...
This Bojangles location urgently needs management inspections. There were flies throughout the restaurant and bathrooms, with dead flies in the window seals. The place smelled musty, and the carpet was dirty. Our food lacked flavor—it's unclear what kind of training the staff has, as it seemed like they were just putting meals together without care. The mac and cheese was bland, the biscuits oddly tasted like cinnamon, and the chicken was flavorless. The Diet Coke from the drink machine tasted like cheap soda, and the ice dispenser was grimy with buildup. I also noticed this location doesn't use the front display area near the register to show food like other Bojangles do. Staff were standing around, engaged in personal conversations instead of working. The bathrooms were filthy, with a toilet paper dispenser falling off the wall and flies near the toilets. I was shocked this location is still open under these conditions.
They hopefully were having a bad day. My family stopped in for a late dinner and when I arrived home and opened my food, I was really disappointed. The three piece strips were about 4 inches long, the diameter of 3.5 pencils, and dry, very dry. The fries had no seasoning and were also very dry.
