As featured on Netflix's documentary Gather, which is about indigenous people and our connections to food, Cafe Gozhoo is a delicious place to eat when visiting the area. The food selection is not large, but features simple casual food prepared with locally grown ingredients which are all delicious. I enjoyed the menu when it had more options, but the food is always delicious, and the place celebrates success through struggles. Watch the documentary, visit the Cafe and talk with Chef Nephi Craig. We recently had friends from Nigeria visit with us and he gave them a small tour and explained what the mission of the Cafe is. They left impressed and eager to watch the documentary. Highly recommend!!
