This restaurant is a unique spot located by the water, under a bridge, with an abundance of potted plants adding to the ambiance. The beautiful lighting at night is reminiscent of Christmas and overall, the food is pretty good. View all feedback.
I recently visited the Trios location on Little Collins Street (off William Street) while working nearby and my favorite dish was the avocado schnitzel wrap. I noticed that the branch on Little Collins uses more meat in their wraps, while the Southgate branch serves them in a smaller size which I found just right. I would have given it a perfect score, but I accidentally ordered a sub instead of a wrap. When I realized the mistake, the server had already started preparing the sub. However, another customer kindly offered to take the sub so that I could have the wrap instead. The service was a bit slow as there were 3-4 employees preparing orders, but overall I was grateful for the customer's understanding and the tasty food. I recommend visiting Trios for a quick meal, just double check your order!
I used to frequent the Trios branch at Little Collins Street (off Williman Street) when I was working close by and the Avocado Schnitzel Wrap was my favourite. I find that their branch at Little Collins used more meat and I remember always feeling overly full with one wrap but their branch at Southgate makes them a lot smaller and it's just the right size. The reason I'm not giving it 5/5 is because I accidentally ordered the sub instead of the wrap and only realised when the lady serving me took out the sub bread and I told her I actually wanted the wrap instead and if I could have the wrap. This for me, was doable as she had only sliced the sub open in half to top up the filling and I'm sure that piece of bread could still be used for their other pre-prepared subs that they sell on the the counter display. However, she said, "But, I am already preparing the sub." Luckily, another customer who was waiting said, "I'll have that." So, I was very grateful to that customer! I went just before 12PM and not sure if they weren't prepared to serve yet but there were 3-4 staff just hanging around with only one taking order and preparing the order, so, the "fast food" service was very slow.
