I have a special accommodation I needed regarding breakfast, they were ready and willing to help. Really impressed with the sense of welcome. Restaurant is fully wheelchair accessible ... but accessibility is also about staff attitude ... and that too was fully present. Breakfast came exactly as ordered. Great spot. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Morels At The High Country Inn:
Sat outside on the deck - ordered the deck sampler for two of us. Seriously it was so lacking of food - 4 - yes 4 - chicken wings, small ramekin of baked spinach View all feedback.
Restaurant located in the Koast-I-Kuntry Inn. It is casual for both exterior and interior. The hotel is not a city hotel, but a countryside hotel. It may be easier to understand the atmosphere of a bar or pub. The patio is pleasant in summer. There are a lot of sake. The menu is a typical North American restaurant, such as chicken wing, burger, salmon, pasta, french fries and yam fries. I had meat. I forgot to take a picture of the menu, but there should be a white ホース menu like a burger and elk sausage. Yukon Gold $10~$20 per dish Common prices for pub restaurants in North America. I was busy with the server. Because it is a little far from downtown, it is better to have a car if you use it without staying.
We had supper at The Deck, as we were staying at the Coast High Country Inn and the restaurant is attached to the hotel. We had the blackened sirloin steak salad and substituted the horseradish with bar-b-que sauce. The steak was very tender. The greens were fresh and the goat cheese, onions and capers added the right amount of flavour. Would have it again. Also ordered the smoked pulled pork. Very good. The restaurant also served breakfast; in a different area just down the hall from The Deck.
Poor service. Over cooked steaks & burgers. Go elsewhere. You can do way better in Whitehorse than this!
This bar offers food and drink. You can enjoy all the Yukon brew - a whole line of local beers. Service is very good and the atmosphere is positive. It's a happening place with local people and tourists. The bar closes early most nights with the largest patronage at suppertime.
We chose to eat on the deck of the restaurant which was enjoyable as it was a very warm summer evening.A good variety of items on the menu to suit most tastes. Servings were very generous and tastefully presented. The onion rings were delicious and a larger serving than I had ever seen previously.
