Mcdonald's - Whitehorse

I took my grandson out for pancakes, as I had promised him. When we entered the restaurant to place our order, we were completely overlooked. The staff seemed unoccupied, chatting among themselves or scrolling on their phones. After waiting about a minute at the register, I told my grandson I was sorry, but it looked like they were too busy to help us today. We decided to go across the street to the Yukon Inn instead.

At the pickup window, I was handed a bag, but when I looked inside, it wasn’t what I had ordered. They insisted it was a sausage patty, and I had to repeat myself yet again about wanting the kids' meal with chicken nuggets. They then told me they couldn’t take the incorrect order back. After some waiting, I finally got my coffee and kids' meal, but while driving, I decided to try the sausage patty. To my surprise, it turned out to be a Filet-O-Fish instead! They couldn't even get the wrong order right.

I messed up my order and found it hard to deal with. Fortunately, they were able to double-check it thanks to the re-evaluation option. The ice was surprisingly good! Just a note: I placed my order through the app while I was en route.

It's very much like any other McDonald's—an epitome of mediocrity.

I went to this restaurant expecting some good burgers and fries, but it was the worst experience I've ever had. The food was overly salty and greasy, and I was really disappointed. I've been feeling unwell for two days since my visit, and I have no intention of returning. I paid $30, but it definitely wasn't worth it. If this is the best they can offer, they should really consider closing their doors.
