After visiting a museum, we decided to have a meal at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious salads. The portions were so generous that we were full before we could finish them! We returned the next day for breakfast and it was even better. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed the beautiful view overlooking the harbor. View all feedback.
What Daniel Dainty doesn't like about Wellington Bistro:
This café is like a poorly done painting of a cafe - lacking in charm and character. The decor feels outdated and uncomfortable, like sitting inside a washing machine. Everything about this place was a disappointment, from the makeshift table numbers to the cheap mugs and strange menu restrictions. The food was overpriced and the quality was lacking compared to other independent cafés in the area. For a better dining... View all feedback.
Inside immaculate, two very nice ladies on service, fish and chips pierced hot, on a warm teller, very favorable prices also. also a panorama of the harbour with cumbrian sea breeze (i.e. semigal) to complete the picture. there, 8. juli, a beautiful relaxing atmosphere, high recommended.
Great eating to great trips and friendly helpful staff
Interior immaculate, two very nice ladies on duty, fish and chips piping hot, on a warm plate, very reasonable prices too. Also a panorama of the harbour with Cumbrian sea breeze (ie semi-gale) to complete the picture. Thoroughly enjoyable mid-afternoon there, July, a nice relaxing atmosphere, high recommendation.
How long does it take to make a **** cheese toastie? Slowest service ever. Don't bother if you're hungry. You'd drive home quicker than food is served here
Had a lovely lunch there today, nice friendly staff too.
