Contribute FeedbackCasa A Roma presents a vibrant dining experience with a diverse Italian menu, including a commendable vegan selection. Diners appreciate the well-cooked dishes, with highlights being the buttery chicken fussili and flavorful garlic bread. While service is generally friendly and prompt, some guests feel that the restaurant can be a bit noisy and that prices lean towards the higher side for the portion sizes offered. Despite minor critiques regarding ingredient balance in some dishes and a tired ambiance, the lively atmosphere and attentive staff contribute to a pleasant overall experience, making it a noteworthy destination in Whitehaven.
I had a wonderful evening last night at the restaurant. The food was expertly cooked and served fresh. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly. Thank you for making my visit to Whitehaven a fantastic experience!
Average. We have dined at many Italian restaurants, both here and overseas, and this is the first one that did not provide complimentary bread or olives at the table. My wife had to pay for a small dip to go with her meal. My chicken bacon pasta dish was okay, with a nice creamy sauce, although there was more bacon rind than meat. The portion size could have been bigger, especially since there was no bread provided. The service, however, was great - friendly and prompt, with our food arriving within ten minutes of ordering (although there were only three other tables occupied at the time). With a bill of £40 for two main courses, a glass of wine, and a beer, I did not feel that it was good value for money. Overall, we were left feeling a little underwhelmed and disappointed.
Casa A Roma is a Roman restaurant offering a variety of Italian dishes like kebabs, specialty burgers, and more. I recently ordered a takeout delivery, which arrived promptly. The chicken fussili I ordered was flavorful and generous, with hints of caramelized shallots in a buttery white wine sauce. The garlic pizza I also ordered was light and herby, complementing the pasta well. The pasta itself was tasty, with well-cooked chicken and lardon slivers, but it was a bit too dominant in the dish. More sauce and chicken would have improved the overall experience. Overall, Casa A Roma offers delicious food, quick delivery, and a nice selection of dishes, but could benefit from a better balance of ingredients.
Decent enough food, a little overpriced for what it is. Staff are always good and atmosphere is usually ok. Although just looks a little tired inside in places.
It was our anniversary and we decided to try something different. Amazing place, delicious food…
