Dee and team helped facilitate Kennard-Dale’s 2008 class reunion and were extremely accommodating. We had a beautiful sectioned off patio area and they had 30 kinds of beer on tap. Will definitely consider this place for future events! View all feedback.
What Michael Chalk doesn't like about Slate Farm Brewery:
Good beer but pretty expensive and long lines. Food was basically bar food, hamburger and chicken fingers. Band was extremely loud, couldn’t begin to have a conversation within 100 ft. View all feedback.
Awesome slushies! I had the root beer float with vanilla ice. Food was great. We had a cheeseburger and fries. Good times.
Absolute gem! Huge selection of taps, love the property. Food is great. Live music sometimes too! Will def be back!
What a hidden gem! Slate is situated in beautiful northern Harford County, MD, and our work had a function there recently, and I left there supremely disappointed in myself for never having visited there before. The staff was super welcoming, kind, and hustling non-stop to provide service. The beer was probably the best I 've had in the county! The IPA I tried was extra hoppy, and the pumpkin beer was so good I brought a four pack home. The food was not your standard brewery hipster variety; nothing but homemade BBQ and other foods that had their own special twists such as a house made beer cheese sauce and a meatball sub on a pretzel bun! This is a place you could bring your kids and chill out for a nice dinner everyone would love, and the staff will make you feel right at home. Can 't wait to go back!
Great brewery with over 30 beer choices and a basic but good food menu. Alot of inside and outside space. Employees were extremely nice. Out in the middle of nowhere of MD though.
Been going to slate since it was just a little single pavillion with a few patrons. It has grown into something very cool and the beverages are always unique and very good. There is something for everyone on the drink menu and seasonal brews are always very good. You can get food as well with plenty of options and the atmosphere is very positive and fun. Also unless it is totally packed there are places to get away from the crowd if you want to do so. Kid friendly, just wish sometimes the parents would watch them closer and not use it as day care for them to blow off steam while they turn their kids loose with no supervision. That is the only negative and it 's not the fault of Slate, parents should parent. Besides that it 's a great place to go and a must visit in Harford County.Update: the food is getting better and better. The pumpkin beers and seasonal choices are great. Definitely stop in!
