Overall loved this restaurant! We had lunch here and the fried green tomato sandwich and the club were delicious! The ambiance is great with such a cute style. The only thing I would've liked service wise was our server to tell us that gratuity was already included in the bill ahead of time. It was my first meal on the resort property so didn't realize it. Thankfully every other dining place has told it since. View all feedback.
What Klp K doesn't like about Draper's:
Service here is really lacking- Completely empty restaurant and 5 people at the front look at you stumped because you don't have a reservation- LITERALLY EMPTY restaurant. Not a single table filled. Ridiculous. In fact no restaurant was good during our week long stay. What a shame especially in a food dessert. Hotel grounds are pretty but no reason to return when the food is so awful At ridiculously insane prices. View all feedback.

I absolutely loved the Kentucky Hot Brown and their strawberry ice cream. I was told that their ice cream is made in house. Word to the wise, their mint chip ice cream tastes like it is made with real mint. I love artificial mint flavor but I'm not a fan of the real deal. The manager, Lester, is about as kind and accommodating as they come. I would recommend Drapers over the main dining room of the Greenbrier any day!
We decided to pop in on a Sunday afternoon before we went on the bunker tour. There was no wait which we loved and the decor was so fun. We didn't want to eat too heavy so we split the nachos and I had a chocolate milkshake. Once we ordered the food and drinks came out pretty fast. The milkshake had a great flavor but there were large chunks of ice cream still not mixed in which was disappointing. The nachos were very interesting, it was new to us to have a wonton chip but they were light and crisp, the bbq sauce however was not our favorite. It looked and tasted identical to ketchup. We spent the whole time trying to figure out if it was, we were sure it was. It was way too over powering and made it difficult to eat off the places it touched and all the cheese sauce was on the bottom of the plate so it was hard to get to. The pork on it was good and tender but that was about the best part and there was not that much of it. Our server was hard to find and we had to wait a very long time for him to even come over for us to ask for the check. Overall it was just okay.
We have eaten lunch here many times in the past. I can say I was sadly disappointed in my food this time. My husband ordered a Cobb Salad. This was the most pitiful Cobb salad that I've ever seen. Very little salad to be considered a meal-size portion. He was still hungry when we left. Definitely NOT Greenbrier standard food! The service was excellent although they were extremely busy and it took 50 minutes to get our food after ordering. My tuna melt was good but still not anything special. I expected more from this famous resort. I'd rather pay more and get better quality food. Cutting corners is not good for anyone.
