Poultry In Motion - White Rock

Used to go here all the time. Today was the last time for us. Restaurant only had 4-5 tables at any given time. We ordered..waited 15 minutes for coffee. Food was TERRIBLE! Over medium eggs were hard and crunchy. Bacon was half undercooked and half burnt, same with the sausages. Potatoes were greasy. Slow service. And then this poor little older lady came in to order waffles to go for her husband and was counting out money. She was told she didn't have enough money, so the lady said she would just take a half order. Was still counting out change.. I finally said give her the full order and put it on my tab. The girl said it was fine but only gave her the half order. Like WTF. So disappointed in everything at this restaurant today. We simply won't go back again.

One of the few places which is open before 8 am. Cute furnishing which makes one feel you are on a beach holiday. Service is kinda non-existent here. Prices are on the high side, especially when the food is quite meager in portion. It feels like a tourist pricing here. I had the meat omelette which came with hash and a tiny slice of toast. Meat meant just one choice from a selection of bacon, ham, sausage and spicy sausage. I had the spicy sausage. While it was tasty, the portion was on the small side. Coffee was ok but at $3, it seemed a bit much. I think hot chocolate is made with nesquik as I saw them prepare a drink with that. Don't expect any fancy or real chocolate in it. Parking is available across the road.

I 've rarely used yelp before, but the service here made me shake my head. We arrived at 11am on a Sunday morning. There were 3 tables finishing their meals, and 2 TWO! servers. There were 3 people behind us waiting for a table. We waited for 10 minutes to be seated understandable with Covid , The table after us was seated immediately. We sat down, and they took our phone number for covid reasons, we were not offered drinks. 30 minutes later, the table behind us has had drinks, and their order. Remember ONLY 3 other tables! We hadnt even been asked for our drinks yet I kept trying to get the servers eye. She acknowledged me.. Picked up pad, came over, then spoke to the table next to us who had finished their meals, talking about friendly stuff about local area, etc etc. She finished chatting, then walked away. They then proceeded to ignore us, making it VERY obvious they were dealing with people around us, and not us. It FELT like they were going out of their way to be rude to us. I have no idea why. I believe I was polite as much as I could be. I could only put it down to colour of skin or our accents? After 45 minutes !?! We said okay, lets wait to the end of the song playing then leave . Again, to put this into context, there was ONLY 3 other tables in place that had FINISHED their meals, and were just sitting around. Plus the 1 table that arrived AFTER us who were almost finished with their food at this point! It felt to me like they were going out of their way to ignore us. They KEPT looking over at us, then getting close to our table and doing other things chatting with their friends/cleaning a table/etc . In 40 minutes we hadnt EVEN been asked for our drink order! Other peoples food looked nice though. So maybe the food is good if the service is terrible? Or whatever the reason why they wouldnt serve us?
