At first we didnt think this restaurant was open as there were no patrons. perhaps we were just early. The food was fresh, quick, and delicious. Staff were suprized we enjoyed the spice. Moving to surrey- too bad as it's good! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Don Asian Kitchen:
Pretty mediocre food, lack of ambience, and zero-level service. My wife and I came there on Friday night, and we were the only patrons, which is a very bad sign!Somebody was doing a construction job in the kitchen, the hammer was very loud. Not going to return View all feedback.
Amazing!. This was by far the best Chinese food i've ever had! Highly recommended!!
The ONLY genuine Chinese restaurant in South Surrey/White Rock area. Spicy Sichuan cuisine mainly, but authentic as you were in China.
This is not the western Chinese food that most people think. It is original Chinese and szechuan dishes hot and spicy but you can can ask for not so spicy . This is my third time here eating different dishes for dinner its good. Try th handmade yam cake for dessert.
Authentic Sichuan Cuisine. If you like it spicy, you'll find something here that you'll like. Don't expect any Chicken Chow Mein or Sweet'n'Sour Pork.
My lunch at the Don Asian kitchen. I don't know about you, but several times a month I get the craving for some good Chinese Szechuan style Asian cuisine. The new Don Asian restaurant opened here on East Beach about a year ago! After many passes on trying yet another ho-hum asian eatery, I decided to give the Don a try. It took over 15 minutes to decide because of the huge amount of delectable Szechuan dishes that the chef personaly endorses as his favourites! The mark of any good Szechuan cook is making such a simple dish like Kungpao Chicken stand out. The Don Chef did just that. The Kungpao dish that came to the table was mouthwatering down right delisious! The Beef Chow Mein, Hot and Sour Soup, Vegetable Spring Rolls with a inhouse made Plum Sauce were all first class. Part of the menu was true to the form Szechuan with a well experienced chef creating the same dishes for the last 20+ years along with his wife running the front of the small but very clean eatery! Not too often do I find such a gem of a restaurant and I sure am looking forward to gathering a few of my foodie friends together and see if this guy can produce some unswerving good Szechuan food.
