What J G doesn't like about Abraxas' Kitchen:
Put a day aside with my family to make the trip down to try authentic Uruguayan food. Half way there my grandma expressed concern that we should call and make sure we didn’t need a reso. When we called they told us they’re not open because they “ran out of food” ??? And that they’ll be open Thursday. Waste of time and gas. This is a hidden gem in whiterock. We have become regulars here and we are never disappointed with the food. The Urca is the best steak you will have on the whiterock strip , the chicken is also very good and juicy. The hamburgers are homemade and you can taste the difference. All the meats are cooked on coal which gives it that special taste you can’t get anywhere else. The owners are very nice and always going the extra mile. If you haven’t been you are missing out. They also have a really cute patio with a great view of the ocean and sunset
The best steak we have ever eaten, with lots of juice and full of flavor. The bean soup and roasted vegetables were also unforgettable accompaniments. We waited more than 1 hour since 1pm and tired of waiting because they didn't open we had to go to other restaurant
Food: Amazing Service: Even Better View from the Patio: You need to See for Yourself! Marin took wonderful care of us from the phone call to book our rezzie to the delivery of the delicious food he chooses fresh each day at the market. Very friendly and warm. The steak was one of the best we have had and the view feom the patio was breathtaking. I highly encourage you to experience Abraxa's restaurant before the summer is over!! Meal type: Dinner
