Our service, meal, and dr... read more The restaurant was very busy with diners indoors and on the veranda, a wedding, and an outdoor concert with a separate price fix menu. Our service, meal, and drinks met the restaurant’s high standard. The Chef and two of the Food Beverage Managers stopped at our table to confirm that the meal and service met their requirements. Over the course of the last year, we’ve had many of the menu offerings. We’d have every one again.

The only negative aspect to the evening was something outside the restaurant’s control, and that was the presence of spotted lantern flies out on the balcony (they are everywhere in this area now). It would have been pleasant to dine out there, and people were and didn’t seem bothered, but my husband was grossed out by the bugs, so we stayed inside. The interior was lovely and we had a wonderful evening. It was our wedding anniversary, and the restaurant was able to accommodate my request for a table overlooking the lake. And our waitress greeted us with a cheery Happy Anniversary! Very nice. Definitely recommend and look forward to going back.

A giant glass fireplace sits in the center and perfect for a photo. Wood beams and artwork on the ceiling. During the warmerseason you can dine on the patio overlooking the lake. The entrance into the restaurant can be hard to find, enter and followround about all the way around till to see gate house. Signs are ry small. At gate house let them know you are going torestaurant. Follow road straight back, restaurant is on right side, the 2nd building.

We didn't have reservations for dinner and just popped in and had a 30 minute wait. We went outside and sat on the patio and enjoyed the lake view while wewaited. I was caught up in the moment and didn't see that the receptionist texted me. They came out and found us and let us knowour table was ready. Our waitress (Amanda) was ready to serve us and brought out water immediately, let us know what the specialof the day was, and took our drink order. We ordered the Crabby crab dip for our appetizer (it was delicious). It came out withamazing fresh and hot bread and visually amazing. I order the Southern Fried Catfish and my wife order the Ribeye. We were bothvery satisfied with our meals and enjoyed every bit of it. They were plated vary well and visually stunning. We shared the BreadPudding and blown away with it as well. Kyle made sure we were satisfied with everything and we enjoyed our conversation withhim. He made us feel that we were not just a number and asked our personal feelings about our time there. We will be back formore and get this place more known.
