What User doesn't like about The Halal Guys:
I must start by saying that the food was delicious, but I am giving it only one star because I was charged for a bottled soda instead of the well drink I ordered. Additionally, the customer service was subpar. It's not about the money, but the fact that the staff accused me of wrongdoing and then had the audacity to ask for a positive review. Although the food appears appetizing, it lacks the flavorful punch typically associated with The Halal Guys brand. Additionally, I was surprised to find out they charge $2.99 for tap water. The staff at the counter failed to inform me of this extra charge before finalizing my order, and there was no signage indicating the fee for tap water. This lack of transparency left me feeling deceived. To make matters worse, the staff seemed confused and unable to process a refund. Overall, my experience was disappointing and unprofessional.
I tried the chicken and beef wrap and it was delicious! I will definitely be returning to this local spot to try more dishes.
The food at this restaurant is average at best. Visitors would be better off getting their food from the authentic Halal trucks, where the flavors are much more enjoyable and the dishes are seasoned well.
Disappointing experience. The gyro meat was quite cold and the flavors were not as good as I have come to expect from halal guys. There are better places for cheaper nearby.
Tired this place out for the first time and it was pretty good. They had a decent selection and their prices are somewhat reasonable too.
