Don't judge a book by its cover! While driving from Virginia to Atlanta with a stop in Knoxville for lunch, my son found a small Mexican restaurant online and asked if we could give it a try. Doesn't look like much on the outside but its definitely worth the stop. Delicious authentic Mexican dishes and yummy tacos.
The Mexican cuisine at this restaurant is truly authentic! It's my husband's favorite spot for Mexican food, he could eat here once a week.
La Lajita Restaurant is currently closed. The sign on the door indicates that they are on vacation in October, but as of now, they are still not open. Attempts to contact them via phone have been unsuccessful as no one is answering and the voice mail is full. Additionally, their Facebook page has not been updated since 2020.
