The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped, though the upper rooms may present difficulty for those unable to climb stairs. Help was offered with luggage if needed. The pub was very pleasant with both good beers and great food, with vegetarian options available. There was a varied menu for breakfast sufficient to meet anyone's needs. There was... read more Called here for our evening meal as we were staying at a local campsite. The staff were friendly. We ordered our food and it was ready within minutes. There wasn’t a lot of choice on the menu, but what we had was nice. I personally think the pub could have been decorated a little brighter. But that is just my opinion.

We would come back happily My only gripe would be the english breakfast, which tasted cheap and flavourless

I had my f... read more I met Ali in 2015 and was a long time after we went back but she remembered us. I can honestly say it’s the best cafe around and wish I lived closer. I had my first birthday after losing my mam and spent it with the lovely staff who made a horrible day into a lovely memory. The food is out of this world and the staff are amazing. So don’t drive past, stop and try for yourself as you won’t regret it!!
