The value for money was excellen... read more I recently discovered this hidden gem and was blown away by the fantastic service, atmosphere, and unbelievably delicious food. The value for money was excellent and I will definitely be returning next time I am in Whitby. This was definitely the highlight of my weekend stay in Whitby.

However relieved to find it open again just in time for our annual visit to Whitby. Although the food was still very good it was marginally not as good as last year. My chicken dish looked messy and was under seasoned, the portions large for me. Service was still very courteous and perhaps too efficient. Would have liked more time between courses, it all felt a bit rushed. However the food was still very good and we will be back next time in Whitby.

My partner and I immediately decided to order the duck, as it had been delicious during our previous visits, and the chicken main dish was also excellent. We cannot find any faults with this restaurant. The ambiance is ideal for couples and the food is top-notch. As a local, it is wonderful to have such a great fine dining option available. We will definitely return for our next date night. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

This charming bistro is truly top-notch, unquestionably one of the best dining experiences I've had in Whitby or anywhere else for that matter. They offer 2 or 3 courses with a menu that caters to a variety of tastes, all of which felt incredibly fresh and seasonal. I opted for the Duck confit and the Belly of pork, both of which surpassed my expectations. My companion enjoyed the Salt cod croquettes and chicken, accompanied by a reasonably priced white Rioja. The staff were friendly and welcoming, striking the perfect balance. This is definitely a great spot for a romantic date or a cozy meal with friends. We are looking forward to returning soon.

We always thoroughly enjoyed our previous visits to this restaurant and was apprehensive as to whether the standard would be as good. No worries there it was excellent. Great 3 course menu at a reasonable price. Best place to eat in Whitby in my view if your a food lover!

I had the duck to start (run don't walk), the pork main (WOW) and the apple and treacle tart to finish. My partner and I both had the pork belly which was melt in the mouth good, the combination of flavours from the pumpkin, butternut squash and the sauce were heavenly. The service was exceptional, Olivia and Emily were friendly and checked in on us enough to know we were being looked after without intruding on our meal. It's a small restaurant (approx 7 tables), the atmosphere was the perfect blend of busy but not crowded, with compliments to the chef floating in the air. We'll definitely be booking in advance (you have to) the next time we come to Whitby. We are so grateful that as a large group with 5 children she was able to get us all seated and all our orders taken swiftly, and she even offered the children some toys to play with. The food was delicious! The facilities were really good too and super clean, couldn't have asked for a better place to have breakfast ready for our trip home. A big thanks to the staff!!
