El Dorado Golf & Restaurant - Whitby

We visited El Dorado today for the first time after driving by many times. We had made a reservation for ourselves and extended family, 8 people and two children. The menu had something for everyone to enjoy. The frozen margaritas were AMAZING!!! The shrimp in garlic and wine sauce, the avocado mango salad, the aztec combos were all a hit with our family. The appetizers were also very tasty, especially the deep fried pickles and calamari. The children enjoyed their chocken wings and quesadillas. We will definitely be returning again. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we had exceptional service. Our compliments to the chef!!!

Mexican Street corn: aka corn on the cob all dressed up with secret sauce and feta cheese. And the Chile Relleno - never heard of it. Stuffed mexican peppers with beef and cheese and sauces with lots of vixens. A bit of kick. Perfect!

Actually has a different name now. I love their taco salad. My hubby and I like coming here on a nice day to sit outside and have a salad and beer. Very relaxing and you might even see a few golfers duff I guess the ball arounf you. Has a nice little course good for beginners or young kids learning to golf.

The hound is probably our favourite in the area...we are within walking distance. Food is very good. We can hardly wait for them to re-open after this winter. We are usually in for dinner once a week, always greeted and a lovely atmosphere.

The food at Eldorado is excellent and the service is warm. Prices are good as well. We have eaten here a few times in the past year with the exception of winter as they are closed.The only thing that would make my experience more pleasurable would be if the windows were more clean. Cleanliness is important and there are beautiful views of a small golf course there.I highly recommend this place for the excellent food.
