The food is well-prepared and flavorful, with a variety of options available including vegan dishes. While some reviewers found the noise level and table spacing to be less than ideal, the overall experience was positive with good service and tasty food. The restaurant offers a unique take on Mexican cuisine, with creative dishes like molecular tacos and vegan options. Despite some mixed reviews on specific dishes, Mexican Corner remains a popular choice for those seeking gluten-free and vegetarian options in Whistler.
They offer a vegan toast and also vegan tacos. waiters are very friendly. portionings are very small when they have made sport all day and for that the price is too high.
Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the vegan options and how Mexican food goes this place at the top of the list.
I had to start the guacamole and pico de gallo. it was quite normal, but well prepared. for my head I had the 3 mix and match tacos. the baja cauliflower and two mol chickpea zucchini tacos. they were well presented and delicious. I've never been anywhere with a taco like the molecular; it was nice to try something new and creative. there was also tofu in the molecular taco. No one in my group tried them, but there were also vegetarian fajitas, and a vegan enchilada available. the restaurant is located on the pricier side, but on par with other whistler restaurants.
Here in whistler through the limited amount of vegan restaurants. while I applauded them for options, they are not very tasty. the jackfruit enchiladas are not very appealing, they can taste that the jackfruit has just been drawn from a dose and it is quite bland. the vegan tacos have soggy fried cauliflower and taste just like picky cauliflower. even its basic side part reis tastes candid and do not appear. To be honest, they're just going here if they don't have any other choice.
Their chorizo tacos were pretty amazing! I was surprised when I realized it was made from quinoa because it tasted so goood. A bit on the pricier side, but that’s to be expected because it’s in Whistler :P
