Not sure why the servers have an air about them. Food was good we went for lunch. Before being seated, the hostess reminded us that we had a 1 hr. and 15 minute window we told her that we would eat fast. What...a way to start a meal!! Then, our server tried to upsell some sparkling wine. We asked her to take a picture of us as a family and she said that 'due to Covid, she could not take a picture '... interesting....... At the beginning we almost walked out of the restaurant because they presented us with what appeared to be the dinner wine list, in wish most of the wines where above $100.00. Wow. Later on we found another list wish had some more reasonable prices but still a little over price. For lunch we had ribs with corn bred and kale. They were succulent. We also had fry artichokes faro and cheese. It was some thing different but still good. We also had dessert it was berry hand pie, with ice cream, it was well presented, refreshing and delicious! This place is excellent for relaxing an just to enjoy watching the mountains. I Recommend it.
This was on outstanding location for a lunch "on top of the world". Views are beyond spectacular and the service and menu selection were also outstanding. Lots of Aussie staff, which is a bonus!
The food was very different. Delicious but small portions. The best thing on the menu when we were there was the Duck Salad. Unbelievably Delicious!!
Setting was fabulous. Food excellent. Service great! Of course, the weather was cooperating, and we sat outside enjoying the amazing views.
Service was a bit sketchy at the beginning but our table was soon taken over by Welshman Daniel and everything fell into stride. The meal started with a nice amuse bouche of fingerling potato with salmon bacon. For starters we tried the Boratta salad, scallop carpaccio and the Duck salad - all dishes were excellent but the scallops and duck salad were truly superb! Scallops was a perfect balance of flavors and textures and the duck salad came trough with a vibrant spice to the salad. As mains we sampled the Salmon, Beef Short Rib and the Pork Burger and again all dishes were very well prepared. The salmon was beautifully cooked (slightly rare as it should be), the short rib also melted in your mouth!Great drink selection available - could be a bit more of a focus on Canadian Wines on the Reserve list but we sampled the local white wine flight which was very nice (rose, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Riesling blend) .All in all a very surprising dining experience in a breathtaking location!
