There's no way you can justify visiting Whistler and not stopping by here!! The food is fantastic--the sourdough is to die for and there's a good selection of other delicious baked goods (the cinnamon rolls were hearty and hit the spot). The atmosphere inside is welcoming and homey; you can see the entire bakery and watch as the items get made. Ed and Natasha are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Will be... View all feedback.
What grace chua doesn't like about Bred Organic Sourdough:

I had to double check that this was a vegan and not gluten-free bakery. The pemberton berry muffin had an odd oil taste that kind of reminds me of old lipstick. I would come back to Whistler just to visit again! Amazing place for Vegan baked goods, either savoury or sweet. I was lucky enough to get the freshly baked Squash Tartine and Cinnamon Scroll both were delicious. The cream cheese frosting was the best I’ve had. A must visit when in Whistler!
Visiting Whistler for ski is a treat by itself but it makes me extra excited to step into to BReD. Their sourdough loaves are exceptional. I don’t usually like cinnamon rolls, but I love theirs. Today I tried their baguette for the first time and it is the best one I’ve ever had. I got their book when it was published. I hope I can bake a bread as good as his… one day.
Delicious vegan baked goods! I loved the olive focaccia and cinnamon bun. Very kind staff as well.
We were in Whistler for a day trip from our home in Burnaby, and we stopped in to check out Bred by Ed. I must say, Ed's bread is fantastic. His mother starter produces some of the best Breads we've had in some time. I only wish they were in Vancouver! A true artisan baker is at work there. Well done Ed.
