This is a very small place so not really great for a long dinner but would likely be a good lunch spot. We ordered by phone and went to pick up. Food was hot, very tasty, great price and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. View all feedback.
What Frances Medhurst doesn't like about Absolutely Thai:
It took us nearly two hours to get our food. Don't get me wrong, the food was good and the portions were very generous. It was a Sunday night though and I think the restaurateur might just be a victim of his own success. He could use more help! View all feedback.
The server was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and unique, especially the Swimming Rama dish. We definitely plan on returning the next time we visit the Sunshine Coast.
Best Thai cuisine we've had outside of Thailand. The spring rolls were perfectly crispy on the outside, with a delicious mixture of vegetables and flavors inside. The Coconut Hot and Sour Soup was so hearty and flavorful, it could have easily been a meal on its own.
The Thai food at this restaurant is incredible and authentic. The Thai spring rolls were delicious and made fresh to order. The Tom Kha Gai soup is a fantastic appetizer to share.
Check opening times and go in to order as phone usually busy or on answer machine! Freshly-cooked authentic Thai cuisine run by Thai couple - food is always hot, plentiful and tasty. Recommend Green Curry with Chicken. Spring rolls are excellent too. Most nutritious take-out in town, good value and always satisfying.
We enjoyed our dinner - it was very good, friendly staff, very reasonably priced, very little seating in restaurant - best for takeout. Will definately eat there again.
