My husband is a chef so I'm very critical of restaurants. I have to say the ghost burger is one of the best I've ever had definitely going on. On my way to come back here. The vampire fries were also amazing and the cocktails were unique and tasty as well. View all feedback.
What Puglover doesn't like about Spears Bourbon Burgers Beer:
I made a reservation for a party of 7 on Open Table. There was a box for special requests. I asked for outdoors. When we arrived at the restaurant, I was told that outdoors is first come first serve. No where on their website did they state this policy. We were seated outdoors. Server was awful. Never took our drink order. Food came before we ever had a chance to order drinks. Food and service were good with the exception of the seating experience. Originally we requested a high top table for 6. Our reservatiin dropped to 4 shortly before arrival so upon arrival we requested a low table. We were told we could not have one because we reserved a high top. With our reservation at 5:30 pm there were 4 to 5 low tables open. We observed they were still open when we left. The host staff and reservation process need to be more flexible when the dining census is low.
We went at an off-peak time so this may not apply to prime time. Service was reasonably quick, the server was friendly and efficient, and the food was good. The barbeque Potato chips side was worth the trip! Not at all like store bought
We brought another couple with us for the first time. They were not disappointed with bourbon menu! But we recommended the Bacon at the Bar appetizer and it came out wiggly. It made it difficult to chew . Definitely not as good as we have had in the past.
We LOVE this place. The food is delicious, well-seasoned and a pleasure to eat, seriously. Portions are generous and tasty. The atmosphere is comfy and casual. Service is good and the cocktails are impeccably wonderful.
The food, drinks, service and ambience is always great and this establishment and lady nights visit was not an exception. I took some friends that had never visited Spears before and they were all extremely impressed. Thanks for another great meal!
